A Family Affair
In September of 1990, a
dream came true for Lance and Linda Carter,
whose passion for hospitality, good food and
wine, opened the doors of the new Southside
Café. This was a family affair as they
and their three children all worked together,
painting, papering and furnishing their new
café. |

de Cuisine, John Redden
Linda and Lance Carter’s son, Chef de Cuisine, John Redden returned to Southside Café after attending the California Culinary Academy. John Redden, Chef de Cuisine, has implemented his cutting edge techniques of food preparation, introducing New American Cuisine with a Southern flair. John’s philosophy is “It’s not what you cook, but how you prepare the food to perfection.” His cutting edge techniques have been a huge success for Southside Café fans who are now visiting more often.
The Sidewalk
Café
